Guess the Player questions

How does Guess the Hockey Player work?

15 guesses at one NHL player. The era, one fact and a free example are given up front, the city unlocks at 4 misses, and 7 misses buys another exact fact plus the option to reveal. Every guess draws a full comparison row: deep green exact, green close, gold similar.

What do the feedback clues mean?

Skaters and goaltenders are scored on different things entirely, so a day belongs to one group — Skaters or Goalies — and the comparison stays inside it. The board says which, then holds your guess up against the mystery player's real season. Deep green exact, green close, gold similar, arrow toward the answer.

Who can the answer be in Guess the Hockey Player?

NHL names with real league careers, from the current game back through the Original Six. Curated on purpose, so the answer is never a call-up nobody has heard of.

When does the daily player reset?

Midnight Eastern, one player for everyone. Same board, same day, whether you are in Toronto or Tampa.

What is shown on each player card?

One season from the record book: the position, the city and years, and either the goals-and-assists line or the goaltending line, with league leads and honours where they exist. No ratings.
